MAGIC CITY IN LITTLE HAITI

Cirque Du Soleil's founder, Guy Laliberte is expanding his magic outside of his extravagant shows.

The charismatic founder is joining forces with Tony Cho and Bob Zangrillo to develop a 15-acre campus-style district which is named as The Magic City. The 10-year development project is planning to have their zoning finalized within the next 6 months and to break ground in a year.

The first phase of the development will see the district to be filled with business incubators, studios and an amphitheater. The later phase of the plan will include building workforce housings, offices and retails. The area is between Northeast 60th and 64th Streets and NE 2nd Avenue right next to the railroad tracks.

NEW TAX BILL ON FLORIDA'S REAL ESTATE

Last month, the House approved a new tax plan for the United States. It is the major tax overhaul in more than three decades., but what's the impact for Florida homeowners?

According to the new tax reform, there is a now a $10,000 cap in state and local taxes. This means tax payers will have to choose between deducting property tax or income tax. In states which have high income taxes, this motion encourages the taxpayers to look elsewhere, mainly Florida.

Florida is one of the 10 states in the US that does not have income tax which means taxpayers can take full advantage of the maximum $10,000 cap on their property taxes. This in return will mean a demographic shift of people moving from northern states with high income taxes to states that do not have a state tax.

Same concept for Wynwood yard except that you also have a live band very night. I haven't tried every food truck but the sushi one at Wynwood yard was delicious. Try Garcia's stone crab at the Wharf.

Both spots have a very laid back atmosphere where you can take your kids and dogs ! You will not be disappointed.
