One Brickell City Centre condo

One Brickell City Centre, planned as a focus of the ambitious regeneration of the heart of the Brickell neighborhood, is scheduled to tower over other Miami condominiums, literally and figuratively. This would be in keeping with the heritage of the site as having belonged to the very Brickell family that originally developed the area and a nod to the Northern Trust Bank that has sold the 1.5-acre site at 700 Brickell Avenue.

The dramatic contours of this prominent residential and business tower are being provided by the prodigious talents at Arquitectonica, one of Miami's most prominent design firms. The design keeps in mind the limitless views of Miami and the ocean while itself serving as a luminous beacon to Brickell. The early phases of Brickell City Centre include:

Various elements of the Brickell City Centre are scheduled to open in 2015, including the 263-room hotel, 89 serviced apartments, condominiums and office space. Linking the development will be the visually breathtaking and innovative Climate Ribbon, described as a trellis system that uses active and passive environmental controls to provide protection from the elements.

Swire Properties hopes to make One Brickell City Centre the front door to Brickell Avenue and an extension of the city's Special Area Plan.
